AC Milan continues its quest for the Serie A title, as it welcomes Sampdoria Genoa to the San Siro this Sunday.
AC Milan has been close on the heels of its neighbors Inter Milan, and is currently in third place on the points table, with 52 points. While the team is tied to Napoli when it comes to points, it is a spot lower due to its loss against the Azzurri. Inter Milan, which is on the first spot, leads both of them by just 1 point. AC Milan is on a roll right now and is yet to lose a game in any competition in the new year.
The team’s confidence will be buoyed by a 2-1 victory against Inter in their Serie A clash and a 4-0 thrashing of Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals. With three consecutive games lined up against the minnows of the top flight, viz.
