On this site, you will find all the latest football odds for upcoming matches that the online betting sites we’re covering are offering. When you click on a match and the odds listed here, you will open up a list of all the betting sites we have collected the odds from. This is the most convenient place to find all the different odds on offer from all the different sites at just one glance.
On our page you’ll be able to see upcoming matches and the odds that are available for specific outcomes of that match. Let’s take a look at what they mean.
Above example shows us a Champions League match between Barcelona and Juventus. The odds here see Barcelona winning at 2.05 and Juventus winning at odds of 3.25. A draw has odds of 4.0.
Betting €10 on Barcelona to win would return a win of €20.50. If you bet on Juventus to win, you’d win €32.50 on a €10 bet.
Thus, if you want to calculate your winnings based on the odds, simply multiply your stake with the odds to get your expected return.
Don’t worry, though, when you add your selection to your bet slip at your sportsbetting site, your expected return will automatically be calculated when you enter your stake.
You may think that betting on football is just a matter of picking the winner and hoping for a decent win. Sure, that’s the essence of it. But getting the best odds is hugely important and should not be underestimated.
Yes, you want to have fun placing football bets and winning here and there. But why not try to go for the best possible profits? After all, if you pick the winner, don’t you also want to pick the best odds?
In the long run, you could end up with quite a bit more money in your pocket by simply shopping around.
If you only place football bets occasionally, it probably won’t make much of a difference where you place your bets as long as the odds are competitive, the betting site is trustworthy, and withdrawals are speedy.
But if you are planning on betting on the Champions League this year, betting on all or at least a majority of the matches, you are in for the long haul. This is when it becomes important to shop around for the best odds possible. Chances are your favourite betting site will not offer the best odds on every single match.
Excellent question. Let’s just take a theoretical example of two punters betting on the Champions League this year (beginning in the Group Stage Matchdays). And let’s assume for the sake of this example that both are placing a total of 100 bets with a quote of picking the right winner 65% of the time.
Punter A usually gets average odds of 1.9, whereas punter B gets average odds of 2.0. They each stake €5 per bet. Let’s take a look at the net winnings:
Punter A
65 x 0.9 + 35 x (-1) = 23.50 x €5 = €117.50Punter B
65 x 1.0 + 35 x (-1) = 30 x €5 = €150
That’s a difference of €32.50, which may not seem like a lot. But consider higher stakes and the difference becomes considerable in the long run.
And if you are worried about investing too much time when shopping around for the best odds, worry not. That’s what we are here to help with.
Well, we’ve mentioned shopping around for the best odds, but what does that even mean? Easy! You compare the odds/rate (i.e. the price) of a bet at different betting sites.
Instead of checking for the best price online for those new headphones you fancy, you do the same but for line bets. You want to pay the lowest possible price for those headphones and the same is true for getting the best odds.
Ideally, you’d have active betting accounts at a variety of great betting sites, allowing you to easily place a bet wherever the best odds are currently available. Alas, for most of us that’s not feasible and hardly anyone bets at more than one or two sportsbooks.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t still shop around, and it doesn’t hurt to have betting accounts at more than one site. Experience will tell you which sites generally offer the best odds.
Obviously, we are doing our own version of shopping around. But since this is our job, we can spend much more time doing this than you.
Since we have been doing this for many years, we also know what to look out for when it comes to exceptional odds that crop up every once in a while.
Some betting sites will occasionally make a mistake, which can pay off for the punter. But sometimes they also offer higher than usual odds to offload some considerable action they have received elsewhere. But this is not something you can count on or calculate with any certainty. It just happens. Randomly.
Still, we keep our eyes peeled for you and we know that sites such as Bet365 or Betway or Betfair can offer excellent football betting odds that beat out their competition.
Always getting the best odds means spending a lot of time trying to find them. If you know where to look, you will be rewarded. And, of course, plenty of sites are quite reliable when posting competitive football betting odds.
Just keep in mind that odds sometimes change from one minute to the next. Whilst we try to update the odds frequently, there is usually some lag to what the betting sites may have on offer once you visit them.
