It lost to an unstoppable Denmark in the first match. It was Karim Benzema who once again opened the scoreboard, scoring minutes after the start of the second half. However, Andreas Cornelius scored a brace, halting a 7-match-winning run for the home team.
The Les Bleus will be even more disappointed with the trip to the Poljud Stadium, where a late penalty conversion by Andrej Kramaric forced them to share points with Croatia. Nevertheless, Didier Deschamps will be hoping to have a better result this time around, as he looks to lift his team up to the second spot.
