The break in the leagues around the world continues as teams play their 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. This next match is between Belgium and the Czech Republic, the two teams currently at the top of Group E. This match promises to be an exciting one seeing as the two international teams have had a good time in internationals recently. Both of the teams also made some waves in Euro 2020 and will come out all guns blazing for this one.
Match prediction and football betting tips for Belgium vs Czech Republic 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. The match is going to be played at the King Baudouin Stadium, Brussels, Belgium on the 5th of September 2021.
Belgium has adopted a very aggressive style of playing and is almost backing itself to outscore any opponent that it comes across. It was surprising to see it let in two goals against Estonia of all teams but it did manage to score 5 itself in return! The Czech Republic also managed to win 6-2 against Estonia, though, and so maybe that is a team against whom results like this are common! The Czechs are going to be more defensive-minded but we do think they are going to struggle to keep a brilliant Belgium attack under wraps in this match.
Bet on Belgium to win.
There is something about big occasions that gets the best out of Lukaku. The Chelsea striker has been in good for this season already and has a wonderful record playing for Belgium. This is going to be his 100th appearance for his country and we think betting on him to mark that with a goal is a good option.
This is a match in which a lot of goals are expected. Belgium uses its attack well and almost does not worry about conceding goals. There is a very good chance that it is going to be able to put a couple in the back of the net while letting one or two themselves. A minimum of three goals have been scored in two of the previous three times these two teams have played each other.
With the likes of Lukaku, De Bruyn, and Soucek playing this match, we are happy to back over 2.5 goals being scored.
