The BSC Young Boys are going to be hosting Manchester United as action in the Group F of the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 kicks off. Out of the four teams in Group F, the Young Boys are the least fancied and they are going to have a very tough time against a Manchester United team that is high on confidence. The Young Boys are currently third in the Swiss Super League with two wins, two draws, and one loss. On the other hand, Manchester United has won three out of the four matches it has played in the Premier League.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals on his return to Old Trafford and we are sure the eyes of the world are going to be on Manchester United to see whether he can sustain that brilliant form.
Match prediction and football betting tips for BSC Young Boys vs Manchester United, UEFA Champions League 2021-22. The match is going to be played at Wankdorf, Bern, Switzerland on the 14th of September 2021.
The BSC Young Boys are going to be playing at home but we don't really see them putting up much of a fight against Manchester United. Sure, the Young Boys ave performed well in the qualifiers but those performances have come against sides that are nowhere near the same level that Manchester United is. With the signings of Jadon Sancho, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Raphael Varane, Manchester United as the pieces needed to compete at the highest levels of Europe.
We think there is no option but to back Manchester United in this one.
The odds on one of the teams failing to score are quite good and we think that is because the BSC Young Boys have been quite prolific in the UEFA Champions League Qualifiers. They scored three goals in each of the matches that they played at home. They also just put 4 past Zurich in the Swiss Super League. Also, Manchester United has kept a clean set just once in its four Premier League matches so far.
That being said, Manchester United's defense is quite good and De Gea has not been making many mistakes in front of the goal either. We think they will be able to keep the Young Boys quiet while scoring goals themselves.
Mason Greenwood has been brilliant for Manchester United this season. He will also find that some of the pressure is reduced since the focus is going to be on Ronaldo. This could open up more scoring opportunities for him and we think he could easily put one past the Young Boys defense.
