Arsenal is going to be a bit nervous about this first match against Crystal Palace. Everyone expects it to win and so the pressure is going to be on its players. Under Viera, though, Palace is playing some very attractive football and is one of the teams that we think is going to move upwards from its position last season.
We can only go by the pre-season performances and Arsenal was certainly more impressive there. It beat Chelsea and Sevilla, two strong teams, that would have filled the squad with confidence.
