Eintracht Frankfurt will host Bayern Munich this weekend, in matchweek 24 of German Bundesliga 2021-22.
Bayern Munich has once again led the points table from start to finish, and that too convincingly. It enjoys a lead of 6 points over second-placed Borussia Dortmund, and will probably go on to win the title for the 10th consecutive season. Talking about the recent form, which seems to have slipped after coming back from the winter break, Bayern has won just 1 game in its last 3 outings.
It suffered a shock Bundesliga loss against Bochum last week and followed it up with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Salzburg in the first leg game of the Champions League knockout stage. They have, however, managed to get back to winning ways, by convincingly beating Furth, and will be eager to build upon its form, as it goes on to face Leverkusen and Salzburg in the upcoming weeks.
Eintracht Frankfurt has won just 1 out of its last 6 Bundesliga outings and goes into this game after registering back-to-back losses against Wolfsburg and Cologne. As a result, they have slipped down quite a bit on the points table and now find themselves in the 10th spot, 6 points behind the top 4.
The middle of the table is very cluttered at the moment, with just 6 points separating 7 teams, and it is hard to predict which team will finally make it into the European competitions.
Match prediction and betting tips for Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich Bundesliga 2021-22. The match is going to be played at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium, Frankfurt, on 26th February 2022.
The game promises to be an engaging affair, as both the clubs are desperate to regain some form, more so for Frankfurt.
The hosts set to miss out on Diant Ramaj and Ragnar Ache, both of whom are nursing injuries, as well as Kristijan Jakic, who will serve a suspension. Rode and Paciencia are doubtful.
The visitors have an even longer injury list, with Alphonso Davies, Manuel Nuer, Kingsley Coman, Leon Goretzka, and Corentin Tolisso side-lined. Thomas Muller has tested positive for coronavirus and will also miss out on this game.
Despite playing with a depleted squad, the visitors should have no problems in overcoming the hosts, who are likely to score at least once.
Bet on Bayern Munich to win.
