England is box-office when it comes to football and there is no doubt that this is the most awaited game this week. The 2022 World Cup Qualifying match between Hungary and England is going to attract attention worldwide, not least because of the spectacular manner in which England imploded in the Europ Cup Finals. Hungary was also one of the more impressive sides in the Euros but will it have enough to be able to withstand the attacking brilliance of England?
Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, and Harry Maguire are all available for this fixture for England so Southgate is going to have no shortage of options available at his disposal. Hungary lost just once in the Euros despite being in the same group as France, Germany, and Portugal. We expect a tough and high-octane match to be played out.
Match prediction and football betting tips for Hungary vs England, World Cup Qualification Match 2021. The match is going to be played at Puskás Aréna, Budapest, Hungary on the 2nd of September 2021.
England will not go into this match expecting an easy contest but it will still expect to win nonetheless. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane give England plenty of scoring options and quality upfront while the defense looks very well settled as well. Harry Maguire is also a physical presence during corners and could very well get a header to go on target or in the goal. Hungary will fight hard as it showed against Germany and Italy in the Euros but eventually it may not be able to sustain the fight for the entire duration of the game.
Bet on England to win.
This is a match where the attacking strengths of both teams are going to be on display. There is enough quality in both camps to create a number of chances and we expect both teams to be able to convert at least one. Hungary has scored and conceded goals in its previous three matches while the same is the case for England's previous two matches.
Raheem Sterling has been in terrific form for Manchester City and has a great record while playing for England. He is going to be the go-to man for England as Harry Kane still seems to be recovering from his injury. Sterling score three times in the Euros and also has one in the qualifying games as well. With Hungary's tendency to concede goals, he could get on the scoring sheet quite easily.
