The team will be under pressure though, as Sevilla has not suffered a loss in its last 10 outings, and is slowly closing the gap. With its next games against Alaves, Real Sociedad, and Rayo Vallecano, Madrid has a great chance of opening up the gap.
Alaves has been struggling so far in this season and is fighting hard to avoid another relegation. The team is currently sitting in 18th place and needs to cover a distance of 4 points if it wants to overtake Granada. Starting from November last year, the team endured an 11 match winless streak, which saw them pick up just 4 points from a possible of 33.
